Wild Auction 2022

A mother black bear and her two cubs explore a rocky & seaweed covered shoreline. The ripples in the water are bands of orange, navy blue, and shades of green.
Water ripples in shades of orange, navy, and gree. The pattern is almost abstract.

I’m so happy to have participated in this event for the third year. I’m a big fan of Pacific Wild and all they do for wildlife in BC.

My piece this year was inspired by a visit to Haida Gwaii, and features a trio of black bears foraging for crabs along a forested shoreline in Gwaii Haanas National Park.

You can see the whole series over on my Instagram page. And be sure to check out the pieces that other artists created this year- search for the hashtag OpusDailyPractice2021 to find them on Instagram.
